Ok, I'm DYING for a specific set of wheels on our car. The HP Design Wheels HPR5 in black. But they don't come in a 5x100 bolt pattern.
I've seen spacers on eBay that convert a 5x100 pattern to a 5x114.3 pattern. These spacers are 30mm thick. IF I was to run those with the 18x8 HPR5 with a +38mm offset, how would that look???? Someone, anyone??? -------------------- |

um, as far as adapters go I would be sure you get good quality stuff (not ebay) then be sure that it does not push the wheels out farther then stock at all, with 18x8's its gana be a snug fit as it is.

QUOTE(creis @ Mar 15, 2006 - 11:00 PM) um, as far as adapters go I would be sure you get good quality stuff (not ebay) then be sure that it does not push the wheels out farther then stock at all, with 18x8's its gana be a snug fit as it is. I think it can be done. The ones I'm looking at are 25mm thick, but I'm going to get a set in and have a local machine shop take a look at possibly taking a few mm off of the back side of the adapter if necessary. I saw some pics of a guys car on here with a 38mm offset on the wheels and a 25mm spacer, and it was RIGHT at the edge of the fender. Didn't look bad at all.
