Ok, I'm DYING for a specific set of wheels on our car. The HP Design Wheels HPR5 in black. But they don't come in a 5x100 bolt pattern.
I've seen spacers on eBay that convert a 5x100 pattern to a 5x114.3 pattern. These spacers are 30mm thick. IF I was to run those with the 18x8 HPR5 with a +38mm offset, how would that look???? Someone, anyone??? -------------------- |

That's not right. The 8" wide 38mm offset rim extends 12mm further than stock. If you add a 20mm spacer you're pushing the wheel out exactly 20mm more meaning that you are now 32mm extended further than stock not 7.3mm.

I musta screwed that up big time..........Doh! *Edit* Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. Chalk it up to lack of sleep. So now the question becomes........how bad would that look if it'll even fit. This post has been edited by Fastbird: Mar 16, 2006 - 5:40 PM -------------------- |

You'd be better off if you bought the chrome ones that come in the correct bolt pattern and paint the spokes black. -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

I'd have to get a silver set, strip all the clearcoat, most likely disassemble it (I believe it's a 2 piece) powdercoat the center section, reassemble, and re-clear coat. On a $700 set of wheels I'll be in it for AT LEAST $1200 when it's done, but have something very unique (although only if you're aware of the work that went in to it). -------------------- |
