I've got a head gasket leak, I think. It's not very bad. I use a quart of oil in about 2 months. Car eats a little radiator fuild too. I'm wanting to do a swap this summer, but I was wondering if an oil stabilizer would help for now. Or one of those restore things. I've always been worried about putting that stuff in my motor. I'm not a real "band-aid" kind of guy. It really bothers me to not fix it right. But I really just don't have the time right now, and I'd like it to be better than it is for the time being. Anyone give me any tips?

all it does is thicken the oil a little, also it lacks anti foaming agents and other oil additives. all you're doing is thickening your oil and dilluting its additive package.
