i was talking to a mechanic friend of mine and he was telling me that alot of time, if you lower vehicles, you have big problem with camber and you need to buy some new joint things, not actual joints, but i cant remember what the word was he sued, but yeah, i was thinking of getting some teins and some KYB's, were i to straight up install those, and get an alignment, would i have problems, or would i have to buy some other devices as well? thanks!

I was told that basically anything above 2" can be adjusted and dandy w/o a camber kit, but 2" and beyond needs a camber kit.

Camber is not adjustable from the factory. What controls your camber is the angle between your strut and the hub/spindle.

There are two bolts that connect the bottom of the strut to the hub/spindle. From the factory, these bolts have almost no play in them and therefore camber adjustment isn't possible. It may be true that lowering a car 1.5" or so doesn't mess up the camber, but it's certainly not adjustable.

To make the camber adjustable, crash bolts(bolts with a thinner inside diameter...kind of hard to explain) or camber bolts(bolts with a cam on them) must be used.
