smile.gif Hello you clever Gen6 people .

I need some help/advise... again .
We have a topic going on toyotaownersclub.com about swapping the head from a 3sfe to a 3sge . Has anyone on here done this or heard of it ? My 3sfe is about 130-140bhp but the 3sge is 170-180bhp . Apparantly the main difference is the head and ecu . If i can get them will it work ? will the 3sfe put out the 3sge perfromance ?

TOC - Topic

Does this make sense to you ? smile.gif - sorry if this topic has been discussed before , i always forget to search .

ANY help will be appreciated

'Thanks Chris wink.gif

to reiterate... a 3S Block is a 3S block. The GE head should mate up, but you'll have to swap over pistons also. I haven't had a chance to open up the later 3SGE's, so I can't say for sure if they're actually the same internals as the 3SFE. I tend to lean towards them being different internals... but you never know. In my opinion, the work to swap heads and pistons doesn't justify simply buying a complete 3SGE.
