I am currently on a search for a newer 7afe and before i put it in my DAILYDRIVER i was wondering whats the best way to get a little more out of it without supercharge or turbo i am on a budget of about 400 dollars and i would like to just force a little out of it. Im gunna do the swap myself and i just want to do everything to it b4 i do the swap so any feed back at all would be great. Oh and its an automatic.

I honestly dont know where to even start with this project but like i said just squeeze some more out of it besides the intake and exaust. I am gunna have a frind make a full exaust for me and i was thinkin about a 2.5 inch to much or not?

Thanks,
Brad

laugh.gif i won an a 7afe corolla 4-2-1 header on ebay, 304 stainless. $100 shipped. i'll let you guys know how it goes if i get it.

Good luck with that, at least it will fit your car better than ours.

Also I think that a lot of people take the 7AFE for granted. When I was looking at cars to buy I test drove mostly 90's Hondas and Acuras and one Ford. All were gutless with thier 1.8L and a manual compared to the St that I have. Even more so now that I have added the intake and exhaust. Yes it isn't no rally car but it gets me around pretty quick and for $5k off the lot and less than $50 a month for insurance it kills all the others. Oh not to mention about 400 miles to a fill-up with highway miles.
