So I'm driving home from work. I'm at a red light. Some dumb 20-25 year old girl driving a red SUV stops behind me and I guess she let go of the brakes or something and bumped into me. I check my car and there are no dents (surprisingly), just scratches in the paint. Like underneath the clear coat. It's like in the center of my rear bumper. Too bad the Curren in Japan didn't come with some special JDM bumper or else I woulda filed a claim. I didn't do anything because she was kinda hot... j/k. There wasn't any serious damage. I'm not sexist at all, but it seems like all the girls I know can't drive for sh!t... No offense to the beautiful ladies on 6GC. I'm kinda pissed. Thanks for allowing me to vent, 6GC. The Celi is still in one piece. smile.gif

EDIT: Cleaned up the post's title after re-reading forum rules. Sorry.

I think a majority of people who purchase an SUV should be required to pass an IQ & road test, they're big enough to cause pretty serious damage if they hit something.

Unfortunately, it seems like the bigger the car you have, the smaller your brain gets. Pretty dangerous situation if you ask me. It's good that you and the car escaped injury..

edit: edited for clarity.

I think you should (and most likely do) realize that the SUV handles & reacts differently on the road, and just because you're up higher and bigger than a regular car, doesn't mean you're safe. You also own a Celica, so you know the size difference between it versus these sherman tanks riding around on 30" wheels. I re-phrased my comment and took out 'anyone' and replaced it with 'a majority of people'... my bad.

More often than not, around here, it's a bunch of grocery getting SUV's barreling down the road with people yapping on their cellphone, not paying attention to anything. I don't trust people on the road by default, let alone some tard behind the wheel of a 5000 lb. cruise missle.
