this is a really wierd problem which occuredd last night. the car started just fine and i went to go get an alignment on it and all went well and the technician attempted to start it and it wouldn't even turn over or anything. the started wasn't even clicking. we had to pop start it and it started with that but then the stock gauges or the power windows worked. on my way home my el gauges started to dim so i'm like crap so i rushed home and got into my driveway and the car died a minute later. the battery was toast. i have fan controls, power locks, lights, horn, and radio. what i don't have is power windows, sunroof, nor stock gauges. none of them work. i checked the starter fuse and it was blown so i put a new one in, and it blew that one so i put in a 15 amp one and that one also blew. so i figure there is a current draw somewhere but not to sure where. i have an alarm in it and i recently put in a new 5s motor. and the starter does work cuz i jumped it with a wire and it started the car fine. anyone have any suggestions? thanks guys.

hey guys thanks for all the info. i ended up bringing the car to the dealership it wa only 110 dollars for diagnositics and they located the problem to being at the egr tube from the egr valve to the intake. there was a bunch of melted wired together and shorting out. hey john how is the 3sgte swap coming along?
