Tourque Converter.. Options

Slapping a turbo on a 5sfe (Auto) would for sure require a tourque converter. Anyone have any ideas? Also about the Burien kit some in here said the proper intercooler would come from I think it was an early model Supra was this correct? If you read this post and know what you are talking about please reply

yea good luck finding an aftermarket convertor...

like snadman said just do a 3s-gte swap

you can get a 5th gen gt4 clip from jarcoinc. for about 1500

edit: if you do decide to do the 3s-gte swap or the 5sfe turbo thing

call jarco anyway and get a 3s-ge tranny. they are FWD and they will bolt up to your existing tranny mounts...

from what i hear they can handle just as much power as the awd tranny but they are FWD

you can get them from the toyota curren

remember not 3s-gte tranny 3S-GE.

the cost is like 300 bucks or so.

most of them come with LSD so boost all you want
