I posted about this over a month ago when I got a 75 in a 55 and I decided to take it to court and I just got back from the district justice...well it pays to fight them, the officer gave me a moving violation instead which doesn't indicate speeding so for anyone out there who gets a ticket, take it to court and you have good chances of getting a deal. Always be polite and 'yes sir, no sir' don't lie and don't give excuses untill the officer asks for them. Being polite goes a long way, one more court date tomara for more $hit, lets see how far courtesy gets me...

P.S.
At least for PA: only state cops can use radar and local cops use vascar (timed between 2 cops) so if you see one cop slow down immediatly and you might be ok when you hit the next cop.

AND another thing, for the street racers out there, the other day a kid got 6 years in prison for involvement in racing that caused 3 deaths, he didn't crash but the person he was racing did, died, and killed 2 others in a car going the other way. The fact that the other kid was simply involved was enough to get 6 years so be CAREFUL! Take it on the track not the street! For the price of fines etc... you can buy a kart and have more fun.

where did you go to court at? i have a court date for august 5 in philly for street racing. i was just wondering who the judge and cop were. hopefully i will get a deal too but most likely not since it was for racing.

and another thing vascar doesn't use two cops. basically to use vascar the cop measures a given distance(point a to point b)puts that in the computer and then sits back and flips a switch when you pass point a then flips it back when you pass point b and it gives them the speed you were going. learned that in criminal justice class. they also use E.S.P. which is thin strips they tape to the road (they arent the round ones used to count traffic) its verry hard to see and if you get lucky and see the first strip its too late if your speeding to slow down. its much more effective then vascar.
