Hey all, I need to get a set of good used High beam lights for both the driver and passenger side, my Celica GT has the light housing, but the light bulbs, wires & light plug-ins aren't there (???) So what do I need to get in order to have working highbeams? I don't know the layout of the engine compartment yet, so I don't know what I need to look for, like where they were cut or where they should be & why would someone cut the highbeam light wiring out???
For the interior, I would like to know if there is any way I can restore the door panels, they are faded and worn. is there anything I can use to dye them black or will I need to get new door panels? Also, the rear leather seat was taken out before I bought the car, so I'd like to get a nice used one, as well as anything that goes in the trunk bay that covers up the sheet metal along the sides, mine is all stripped and it is noisey, as well as unattractive. Last thing, I am somewhat new to having a car with Nitrous Oxide, I was told that the bottle is empty, how can I be sure? There is no purge hooked up and I want to take the bottle out, since it is where the backseat will be, and can I refill the bottle or do I have to buy a new one? Is it safe to disconnect the bottle from the line? The system isn't hooked up, so I have been told. How can I be sure? The line runs through under the carpet and into the engine bay, to the back of the Weapon R intake. That else has to be hooked up for it to work? I am no professional, I do not plan on racing it, I just want the Nitrous hooked up for shows, and to just do a little purge here and there (not on the street, at a car show only).... So if any of you can help me out with anything (like hooking up the highbeams, fixing up the interior & such) it will be very highly appreciated! Thanks guys! Oh yeah, would it be a bad idea to have a nice custom Katzkin leather interior kit installed? I was thinking black Tuscany Katzkin leather w/ purple to gold chameleon inserts & piping to match the Interlagos Fire '06 Nissan 350Z Exterior paint... would that be a bad idea since I have a black on black leather '95 Celica GT? I have been told by some others here that this is a rare combination. If it is a rare car, I will restore the interior in all black leather to stock, save for a few carbon fiber accent peices. Can anyone get me some info on production numbers for black/black leather cars? I just don't want to mess up a possible future collectible (you know, like some low production oddly optioned muscle cars are today?) For example, there were only 2 '70 Hemi Cudas made in Panther Pink.... and they are Million dollar + cars today..... LOL don't get me wrong I know that my car isn't a 1 of 2 car, I was just using it as an example.... |

dont have n e thin 4 sale..but i can tell u how 2 check ur nitrous system. Pretty much take the botel out of the holder, close it, disconnect the feed line from the bottel, and to see if its open 1. shake it and see if you hear n e thin splashin around inside, or 2. just open the valve slightly. If it is empty and you wanna use it for shows to purge or w/e...buy a machine gun lighted purge kit from ZEX (around $100) and go get the bottel re-filled. Bottel refills are like $30-80 depending on the size of bottel. If you wanna go get a new bottel its gonna cost u like $200 and then the cost of filling.
