at about 500rpm is when the shaking happens when the ac is on and the car is at a light. in that situation, since the car is not moving, the electric fans are one, as well as the climate control blower, making the alternator work a little harder, putting resistance on the engine and then the AC compressor puts a whole lot of resistance.
that is what happens with an auto that is left in drive at stop, the tranny side of the TC is not allowed to turn which is even more resistance on the engine. to stop the shaking i always press the ac button, the ac turns off, the shakes stop, and less gas is burned and the engine doesnt get hot. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
