hey if you were selling a Celica in Decent shape with a 3sgte in it, how much could you expect to get for it?The reason i ask is because my dad is leary about helping me pay for it because one he thinks that i wouldnt keep the car after the swap is done i would just turn around and wouldnt want and i wouldnt get my money out of it, (like selling it) Which i know people are ALWAYS looking for cars like ours or Modded cars in general but could ya'll help me get some proof that a engine swap is worth it. Thanks

Not to be a wet blanket, but usually you won't get out what you put in when you sell a car. If you want to do the swap (or any mods pretty much) do it cause you want to and you love the work. The only type of swap that you can usually make money at is if the car comes with a blown engine, you guy it for $500, and then put $2500 into a swap and sell it for $6000. But if you do it to a car you could sell right now for $5000, do $2500 worth of work, and still sell for the same $6000 you lose money.
If you want to do the swap (or put any money in) I wouldn't plan on doing it trying to make money. -------------------- ![]() psalm 69 |
