it sarted out as i went to leave the house and hit the key it stumbled then hit up like normal
i went to back up and it shut off and would not start back up. i cheked and had fire and fuel i checked the timing belt and it was loose so i replaced the belt and tensioner cause the old tensioner was locked up it sounds like it is out of time. i dissasembled it to make sure i had the marks lined up properly and they were. is it possible to have the cam 180 degrees off? also i havn't took the distributor out is it made so it only goes in one way or does it have a cog type gear on it? other than that is there anything else that could make it do this it just keeps turning over and will not start. not only do the timing marks need to be aligned, cylinder #1 needs to be at top dead center.
