Well, after riding around with an unpainted car (all in primer) and just ordering a set of underbody blue neons and 20 LEDS it finally has set in, my car is slow, unpainted with neons, im a ricer... I cant help it tho, I like neons ^_^

I agreed that you dont get perfection, and if thats why some people dont do it thats their perogative. However, the swap isnt for everyone. I have the means to have a second car and the Celica is my hobby. I care not what the car was designed for, because I have changed the car and I have designed my own for me. I dont nickel and dime anything, and fast is subjective. Everything can be fast or slow depending on what you compare it to. Compared to a stock GT, my cars a rocket ship. Compared to a Z06, I'm the tortoise and he's the hare.
If your point is: people dont do swaps becaue of loss of mpg, reliability and high maintenance. Then I of course agree with you. All of that needs to be taken in to account. But those who have done swaps are not complaining about mpg, reliability or high maintenance because it comes with the territory. Are you out of Midol John?
