Unless you're doing a competition system, 1 Preamp output is really all you need for subs.
If you run an amp for your subs and your components, I'd suggest a larger alternator and possibly a dual battery setup. And that's just crazy for a daily driver. Now I agree that a 3 or 5V output would make a difference in sound quality, but probably not enough for a non-audiophile to notice.
