Hey everyone,
Noob question here, so bear with me, since I couldn't find anything through searching. Just wondering what kind of fuel you guys put into your celicas. I realize that anyone with a swapped or Turbo'ed 6G obviously uses Premium, but what about those of you running 5SFE or 7AFE engines? I would think using a higher octane fuel would increase performance a bit, but does it? Or is it dangerous for the engine? Any more importantly, is it even worth it with the rising cost of gas... Thanks! |

i use 89 because i get on average about 2 to 2.5 more mpg. so if i buy 10gallons of 89 for 10c more that 87 i cost my about $1 extra but i get about 40 extra miles on a gas tank and that about an extra gallon so i save about 2 bucks. if that made sence. i aslo gutted my car and found that thats good for about a 1 to 1.5 mpg every time. i almost always shift at 2k and go very slow and i get about 34 to 35 mpg
