First of all, let me say this: ITS A FICTIONAL STORY AND MOVIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No man, its not. And its people like you who sadly have the bible mixed up with text books. It didnt rain for 40 days and 40 nights, adam and eve didnt pop up from the ground and have 2 sons who miraculously had children with whom...The bible takes SOME fact and mixes with ALOT of fiction to form something that 2000 years ago was accepted as good behavior and a way of life. Today, if follow the bible you'll be locked up with what it says. If you believe the bible to be 100% truth then you can NOT pick and choose what you will follow and this is a major mistake. Its nice to be able to say "thou shalt not steal" which is fine and then say oh well we're not going to stone our children for misbehaving.

you cannot claim something to be a fact based on "faith" alone. the correct response to this would be that you *think* it is all factual, when in reality it is not.

Nothing in the Bible has been disproven, so the scientific method shows that its fact unless it can be proven wrong. :-D

This is 100% WRONG. And most devout catholics believe this. Science doesnt go out to disprove anything. Theories are made based on FACTS and then those theories are test in the real world. It just so happens, its impossile to disprove imaginary beings and heaven and hell. I'm very sorry that you dont know what the scientific method is, and most other catholics you arent going to sit there and re-evaluate what your truth is because your too scared to realize the real truth, we're here alone and there is no god up in heaven controlling the universe with his "plan." Sorry to say buddy but your following a fictional book just like the Da Vinci Code. There was no huge ark - they did not have the means to build that boat and have it actually float back in that time not to mention getting 2 of each animal on the planet. Considering there are millions of animal species the boat would probaby be the size of texas. But you continue to tell me that the bible is facts and that god ordered the killing of the first born children in egypt because of 1 pharoahs' imaginary enslaving of the jewish people, which also has no factual basis to it. I honestly dont understand how someone can actually sit down and think for themselves for a little bit instead of what has been driven into their brain when theyre growing up and say yeah, there is an all powerful god there is an all knowing god and sure he lets millions of people get slaughtered in his name, take money from the poor in his name and come away a believer.

My rants over. This topic gets me so heated its ridiculous. If I offended you, its probably inevitable and your going to have to deal with being offended when debating like this. I dont get offended if you criticize evolution (oh wait that didnt happen, and david copperfield makes the statue of liberty disappear).
