Hi, I have a 94 Celica GT, and would like to lower it. Sounds like 1 to 1.5" is the norm around here, so does anybody have a recommendation for a specific lowering kit? Price does matter, so how much is reasonable to spend on this? Also, I'm new this stuff, so what all will have to be done to lower it? Just new springs put in? All advice would be helpful!
Thanks, Farris |

fallen, its only with konis that you have to weld anything. the kybs are a direct replacment.
to install the konis you just use the fronts and in the rear you gotta cut &weld i have the eibach sportlines(1.5")about $200 (tirerack.com) and kyb gr-2's god i cant remember the price, they wernt all that expensive though.. (also from tire rack) i love em, great handleing, and the perfect drop for me. you may or may not need to do the shock/struts, but being a 94, prolly be a good idea. i'd recommend getting all new boots for your struts also, theyre only like $10 ea, and the kyb brand comes with new bumpstops, too. you should be able to get everything youll need and have it installed for about 450-600 depending on if you can do the work yourself. if you do the work yourself,....just take your time, check everything. i always say its better to replace anything that looks even slightly worn,.... not worth having to take that sh#t apart again after its already been done.. lol one thing i'd also recommend is to get your car aligned after you have done everything. oh and you WILL NOT need an alignment kit. just so you know hope that helps -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
