 best way to cut plastic |

well I need to cut some plastic, I want to test out something and write my name in cursive in the plastic. What would be the easiest way to give it a nice clean look. Oh, and the pastic is about as hard as the door stops on our car.

You could try a knife attachment on a soldering iron?
How thick is the plastic mate? Might be worth looking for a company that would laser cut it for you, then it would be a perfect finish. |
