After being rear ended for the third time within a 2 month time frame, My parents are forcing me to sell the celica because they belive it is jinxed and has bad luck for me. Everytime it got into an accident the amount of damage keeps rising. So far, the Insurance company on this third accident is willing to pay up to 3K in damages to my car. Once I receive the insurance $$ I will put my car for sale as is......(sigh) I will miss the celica for its shape and design.
So any ideas on what I can get next? I was thinking of an WRX STI, or something that acn save gas like the new Toyota Yaris, or get a civic..... |

I'm going to assume you're young since you stated that your Parents are "forcing" you to sell your car, a WRX STi would not be a wise choice, at all. I don't know if you pay for your car or car insurance but - I'm almost positive you're not going to pay cash for an STi and I'm pretty sure that you could not afford the monthly payment, car insurance or gas for an STi. If I were to be in your shoes, with limited cash but seeking a new/newer vehicle. I would look into buying a Toyota Yaris, Mazda3, or somthing along those lines. I wouldn't listen to any of those that have replied thus far. A Supra, VR4, STi are all bad decisions & investments for a young driver. Just my 2 cents. -------------------- Upload your car pictures on my server and show em' off anywhere! Now serving more than 400 users. 16,000 uploaded images. |

I just wanted to get a car that would last a little bit longer where I don't have to change out axels, bearings, and ......even engines. So far, Toyota is the way to go and yes, my parents said they pitch in and help me out with a car so that just made it sweeter....as long as the celi is sold first (sigh). |
