It was really weird experiense...
- no clutch pedal - you don't need to touch shifter to driveaway... - you don't need to touch shifter to stop! - you don't need to touch shifter during ride at all !!! I was so... "deficient" , so confused... I drived like in driving school . Any one of you ever tried "other tranny" than is your usual one? -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... QUOTE(jcbass7 @ May 22, 2006 - 4:47 PM) This is a funny thread because my celi is auto haha and i know what your talking about, everytime i drive a stick and then hop back in my car i feel like im taking the bus to work or something.. no interaction with the car at all. and that exactly is most discovering for me . Have you drived manual tranny before? In english "ass" means the thing you sit on and it's not a chair. So if you are laughing your ass off, something must be pretty funny. Technically it's a swear, so use it accordingly. What is your native language? It's neat that you can talk about cars and learn english at the same time. That's my kind of learning. -------------------- |

It's neat that you can talk about cars and learn english at the same time. That's my kind of learning. I know what the "ass" means , but confusing for me was "ass off" phrase. Is it or is it not some phrasal verb or something? Like... "turn off" or "cut up", because "ass off" in English-to-Czech dictionary means support, enforcement . However, you are right, this forum is one big english lesson for me and I really appreciate when people try explan me english "conversational" phrases About my language (if you are not interested just skip paragraph below ) Czech language is West-Slavonian language and it's really simmilar to Polish and Slovakian language (I can understand 90% of anything they say). More different are East-Slavonian languages (example Russian language) and South-Slavonian languages (example Bulgarian, Croatian, Serbian languages). I can undersnad about 40% and bit imagination is needed for this . And English? Total different language for me just about 1% words are similar... education ended thanks Cutrara -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)
