Time came for some new tyres so also decided to keep with my plan of going back to the factory stock wheels. Not the awful tri-spokes which initially adorned the ST205, but the post '96 facelift rims. Managed to pick up a set for little $ and had them wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s...
Have to say that I think they look much better than the previous 17" rims I had. Also keeps the car looking stock too Gary -------------------- 1994 ST205 Celica GT-FOUR Group A WRC - running in new engine 1993 Rover 220 GTi tarmac rally car (under construction) 3SGE power here we come.... QUOTE(celicast3sgte @ May 24, 2006 - 8:55 PM) how do the tires handle? Pretty impressive for a stock road tyre. I'm going easy on them at the moment as I was running road legal slicks (Toyo RA1s) previously which will out perform any normal off the shelf rubber. Just need to get used to them before I start going round corners quickly again Gary -------------------- 1994 ST205 Celica GT-FOUR Group A WRC - running in new engine 1993 Rover 220 GTi tarmac rally car (under construction) 3SGE power here we come....
