A couple questions. Would these coilovers work for my 94 Celica GT Coupe? If so, how low can I safely go with them without needing any other modifications or parts? Also, I've seen that the general opinion is that springs will give you a better ride than coilovers. . . can I get anything better than this setup for 150 or less? Last question: I saw Ray's write-up about how to do suspension installs without needing a spring compressor (http://celica.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=29;t=000967#000007) and wanted to make sure this will work on coilovers as well. All advice would be helpful, I'm new to this stuff!

Thanks,
Farris

I'm pretty sure that the ST and GT strut setup are the same. So I think those should work for you. But I wouldn't recommend buying some off brand product, especially when it comes to your suspension. Your suspension is one of the most important features of a ride. I'd recommend just getting springs (1.5"). *True* coilovers or nice to have, but only *worth* having if you plan on racing. But it's totally up to you.

You shouldn't need a compressor (or my method) when installing the coilovers, just when you remove the factory springs.
