now that summer is in full swing, it seems i cant go anywhere without people asking me something about the car! on average i get stoped about 1-3 times a day, mostly young guys but also a few older people will ask me what kind of car it is or something like that.
does this happen to everyone else? This post has been edited by lagos: Jun 4, 2006 - 10:02 PM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

The funniest one I can think of is when I used to hang with the MKIII Supra club here in Houston we would have our meets at the local Hooter's. One night the girls asked if we were a car club then asked if we would point out our cars. Mine being the only Celica in a line of Supras of course stood out like a sore thumb. Then the girls asked if they could each have a quick ride in the cars during their breaks. The girl that picked my car was really nice and very cute and I of course quickly agreed to give her a ride.
She gets in and is careful not to hurt the car and about block down the road says "So this is a Porsche right?" Instantly I look down at the Toyota symbol on my steering wheel and the devil on my shoulder says "Yes - just go with it - girls like expensive cars {insert evil laugh}" Luckily the angel on the other shoulder won out and I told her it was a Toyota Celica. LOL - I should have listened to the devil. ![]() -------------------- ![]() |
