i know it's the summer, but here in Boston, that's only 1-2months. the rest of year can be covered in snow. i just swapped out my 4 tires for snow tires in prep for '07. i only drive about 15miles during the workday. will it be worn out by winter time?

PS the tires are pretty noisy =(. laugh.gif

Are they Dedicated snows or all-season ?

Probably. The snow rubber Is a softer compound, and Wears Much quicker than
a standard or an all season. probably More mileage then a drag tire though. :-)

Yes they are Noisy too.
Snow tires have less traction too. :-(
Usually narrower than a stock tire, and less surface due to snow tread.

If you Want to keep the snow for best snow traction, get a set of
daily drive/summer/ all season tires. IMHO.

I am driving on snows Mow myself, but I have had them for 3+ years/winters.
I swap them out about May. Now I am going to see how long they last this summer
or until the steel belts show. :-) I got my $$ out of them.

Regard;
