I am currently in the process of transferring my sound system from my GT to my GT4, only problem is that the box containing my subs will not fit in the GT4, and the only option is to remove the spare tyre. I didn’t really want to do this, but it’s the only option (Apart from buying a new sub enclosure and probably new subs to fit it!!).

The question is, has anyone used ‘Tyre Sealant’ in their tyres (The stuff you get in cans and insert into your tyre through the air valve). Apparently this stuff prevents air leaking through the puncture as the sealant enters the hole/crack as you drive and quickly hardens?? I know that it’s not permanent, but will it get me home if I get a puncture?

Basically is it worth taking my spare out and does the stuff do what it says on the tin?? confused.gif

I just carry one of them tire fixing cans. So if something happens (better not be a blow out) I'll just pour that crap in and drive the car to the closes walmart or any other repair shop. its like 10$ to fix a leak so it's not a killa.
