My car is +33 all the way around with 7.5" rims so your wheels will stick out 1mm more. This means the fronts will DEFINITELY be fine. The backs on mine have never rubbed but the outside edge of the back tires is right underneath the lip of the fender. My car is lowered 1.75" and I have never had a problem. Also, the diameter of my my tire is 1" more than a 215/46/16 so that means that the tops of your tires will be ANOTHER 1/2" away from the tops of your wheel wells than my car.

In short, they should fit and have no rubbing problems. The should look very good too. Good luck.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

here is a pic of garys (gt4wrc) gt4 with 16*7.5 wheels with 225-50-16 tires. in my opinion, the best setup on our cars other than maybe 225-45-17. damn i wish i got 225-50 instead of 205-50's frown.gif. if only i could burnout tongue.gif.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
