My celica went nuts recently.. how's this for a crazy set of problems..

1) clutch gone completely.. 0-60 time .. almost 16-17 seconds
2) struts are gone
3) bald tires up front (and one is a wrong size 195/50/15 and the other 205/55/15
4) bad alignment
5) creaking ball joints

This is one DEATH machine. Makes driving a nightmare. Haven't really been driving it.. but hopefully this should be a lesson to ya'll.. take care of your cars and don't let it build up.. lol

QUOTE (94Toy @ Jul 7, 2003 - 10:42 AM)
I think I have everybody beat. When I bought the car it had 186k on it. I got if for 2900, and this is what I had to have done to it.
New clutch
New transmission (and it still grinds in 3rd. pisses me off. never buy a used transmission)
everything on the axel redone
shocks and struts
front and rear brakes
all new vaccum lines and seals on the engine
new plugs and wires
new distrubutor
4 new tires
allignment
brand new oil pan too(the old one leaked like a quart of oil a day)

there is probably more I just don't want to think about it and get all depressed.

In all 3500 after buying the car.
And I am not done yet the interior is still messed up the seat is all torn up and the body has a dent on the side and a bunch of door dings. But you can only tell when your really close to the car. The last time I had any money was back about 2 years ago when i had an 89 camry, but it was worth it the car drives like you wouldn't believe now. Plus you can't go wrong with a 6gen celica

you win...
