whether it be an alternator on your blacktop 4age or your water pump for you 3sgte...

what if a part craps out on you...what do you do? can you just go down to advance auto and get the part? would you have to go to the dealership? how much is the price difference? would usdm parts fit a new version motor? what have you [jdm motor pplz] done?

that, and then you have stupid toyota dealers like the one here that REFUSES to look up a part with out a VIN #! they are just lazy and dont want to go through the trouble of looking it up.

i've never had that happen to me just yet, but then again i always provide a part number when i need something from the dealership smile.gif also bigmeanbulldog is right, ordering online is easy if you know exactly what u need and dont mind waiting for it to come in. i do it all the time with http://www.toyotaandlexusparts.com/ and http://www.wilsonmotors.com/en_US/
