So, i love my car. I love being in it, being on just regular roadways, etc. But, only down side to having my exhaust done is, well...on the highway, I CANT HEAR A THING!!! mad.gif So any ways, i can get sound deadaning mat from my work for a good price. If i line the trunk of my car with it, will it reduce the interior noise? I dont notice the sound as much where i sit, but further back, its rediculus.

A few of the guys in the UK have Blitz exhausts which are very loud at high revs, luckily they come with a baffler you can put it to make it quieter. A better muffler would probably be the best option but I am guessing that the sound deadening is cheaper than a new muffler? if it is then give it a go, it wont do any harm, I suspect you would need to do more than the boot (trunk) to get rid of it totally but that should make it a bit quieter. Are you sure the exhaust isn't blowing? it is strange that it is quieter if you sit further back??????
