I know this might seem an odd thing to do, but I was wondering if it is possible to disengage the drive to the front wheels on a GT4, sending all the power to the rear wheels.

Ive searched throught the forum and cant seem to find any info on this

Any info would be good, whether it can or cant b done...

the rwd cradle from an awd car (like a gt4) would bolt right up....but the torque split would present issues. you'd really have to get a rwd donor car (a lexus or older supra, maybe?) and use a different motor arrangement and trans. the transverse front arrangement with an awd trans would suck something awful. i'm of the mindset that unless you have unlimited funding, you should leave it fwd or swap the whole gt4 driveline and use the awd. besides, if you're looking to build a REAL drift car, it's not going to be streetable anyway, so you'll also have to invest in another daily ride.
