I saw this somewhere about removing the intake butterfly which i guess opens under increased throttle but closes at idle or something like this. Can you remove the intake butterfly on our cars if we even have one? Will it help etc. etc...

Yea I dont know either thats why I asked, I thought maybe it makes it more responsive because those flaps dont have to open and your probably more likely to get water in the intake when your driving than just sitting still so I dont think thats why its there but then Im guessing.
