I may see if Speed-source is willing to make us some traction control bars. Carl Crawford owns Speed-source and his fabrication skills are absolutely top notch. I am sure this will be a one time thing because of the low number of folks making any power. In other words, if you don't get it now, you likely won't be able to. I suspect the price will be in the $350 range. Post up if you are interested. If there are enough people, I will contact him and I suspect he will make them for us. I am looking for at least 8 people.

could you give us more info on where we'd have to get the welding done on the car so we can judge the difficulty and priority of the spot..
and did they give you a ruff cost estimate? |

We didn't talk price on Friday but he told me before that he could make these at or less than the cost that full-race was selling them for. The two plates will need to be welded to the back (or under) side of the front cross member. It will be slightly inside of the apex of the front control arms. It would be SUPER easy for any competent welder. If the group buy goes through, there will be directions and measurements on exactly where to place it (although given the length of the traction bar arms, you probably wouldn't need the measurements). -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
