 Speedo sensor testing |

Does anyone know how to test the speedo sensor to see if its bad, or if I have a short in my wiring. My speedo just all the sudden stopped working and I'm trying to figure out if I have a short or if my speedo sensor went bad. Also is there a fuse for the speedo sensor?
Oh yea the rest of my gauges are working fine just my speedo stopped working and I have a code 42(speedo code). |

this is the cause of your problem.
Interior Modifications: Indiglo Gauges it will also throw a CEL light after a while telling you the speedo sensor is bad, when in fact its the gauge thats the problem. i had the same issue too
