Anyone serviced or replaced on while the motor was in the car?? Ours tossed the belt today and upon further inspection, it's become aparrent that the nut holding the pullen on the shaft is missing and the pulley wobbles around, which is why the belt got thrown.
Anyone have a pic of an assembled power steering pump sitting around or can furnish one for me? Also, what is the thread/pitch of the bolt that I need for there??? This post has been edited by Fastbird: Jul 21, 2006 - 5:37 PM --------------------  |

Yeah, but it's just simple growing pains. I was afraid the motor had to be moved somewhat because it looks VERY inaccessable.
Specifically what I need is the thread size/pitch of the bolt that holds the pulley on. I can only pray that the dowel pin in the schematic that holds the pulley from spinning is still there. Lagos, thanks for the killer link. That helps a TON! -------------------- |
