Hey guys, I just purchased a 1997 Celica ST. It's got 120k miles on it, only had one owner. The body is in perfect condition and I am looking forward to doing some modifications to it. I'm 18, and to be honest, I don't know too much about modifying anything in cars. I usually just let my friends do it... hehe. But I'd like to start doing some things on my own and such. Before this car, I had a '94 Civic which I did some minor customizing to.. but nothing too serious. With this car, I'd like to make at least one major customization a month. I figured I would get on the forums asap and see what I can do with this Celica. So any recommendations as to what I should do first would be awesome!

As far as right now, the car is completely stock except the following, which I have done to it already:

- 17" BBS rims
- Two 12" Elemental Design Subs (In custom box in trunk)
- Two 8" JL Audio Subs (In doors)
- Pioneer Premier Deck

That's about it guys... so anyone that lives around Orlando that wants to help me out once I start getting this car going, just let me know!

Yo, welcome to the site. You'll find it more friendly than most Honda sites. I'd dump the subs, they are too heavy. You have an ST, and you need all the help you can get. Couple words of advice, don't say anything about racing anyone, it's not taken to nicely on this site unless it's on the track. And like most forums, search it first. I hate to say it, because it's irritating and unfriendly I think. But if you ask questions that are common or have already been asked, people will jump on you and really be mean. Don't be to scared about posting though, there are some nice guys who will just tell you its a frequent question and direct you towards the post, just don't make a habbit of it. Post some pictures up, I'd like to see what you got.
