Getting tired of the mods around here... Options

This forum is so boring to visit. I really dislike the way the moderators run things here. Lately, things have been so lock-happy it's not even funny. Sometimes the topics can be decent yet Manny or Jeff will swoop in and lock things. It's getting ridiculous. I guess that's the strict rules this place has though. I just think off-topic should be a bit more relaxed. No porn or racism obviously.

Why don't you mods get a forum and make posts so you can lock them? Maybe that'll satisfy that urge.

I'm just tired of the baby-ishness of 6GC.

ok i see where some of this is going and John thanks for your post it pretty much covers the issue at hand and i personnally know there are alot of people who have left because of issues like this one or are getting frustrated as such..
although it is good pressure has admitted his fault on that thread its closed lets forgive and forget..defgeph has warned him lets have that be a reminder..
on the meet comment i won't even start on that i've delt with it already

but right now in this community i believe here lies one of our LARGEST problems is this attitude

the thing everyone dont realize here is WHY i did what i did, and to be honest, i dont have to explain it to anyone, but the mods.

i used to consider this a family....if someone does something they EXPLAIN to the family why they have done what they did and with openess...
this attitude shown here is elitest and shows that someone considers themselves above the rest....when infact you are not above anyone else...you arn't special....and yes you DO have to explain why you do things...this is a community not a heirarchy of totalitarian leadership...if your going to close or delete something you need to post up WHY it is being done....basically lets look at history "NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION..." "NO MODERATOR ACTION WITHOUT EXPLAINATION"


obviously when a group of people get together to address a problem...it means there is one that needs to be fixed...it doesn't me people make stuff up
