Currently, my car is in the shop for a check up. The '97 GT has about 96,000 miles on it and my mechanic has taken a look and suggested the following:

Replace Timing belt (And some other components in this area)
Replace Spark Plugs
Replace Fuel Filter
Replace Belts & Hoses (Look kinda worn)
Replace PCV Valve

Does this sound right? Is there anything he is missing or should not include? Just want to get some opinions before I lay out the cash.

Thanks Tara. Actually, the mechanic has been working on our family's car for sometime now. He's always been honest with the work he's preformed so I trust him with the Celica. The only things is that I hope he is replacing stuff that doesn't need replacement, i.e. fuel filter/timing belt only because toyotas are supposed to last a looong time!
