well i went to the junkyard today and pulled a t03 out of a 87 chrysler newyorker. .45 trim, .42 compressor side and .48 turbine. factory set at 7psi on the 2.2ls. got it for $50 with NO shaft play in any direction.

CONCLUSION:
t03= smaller than ct26 which to everyone here seems too small to even be useful. BUT the fact is that it still pushes air and i am NOT looking to try to get the maximum amount of power out of it and the engine. AND using a paerformance calculator all i need to do for better performance(with this turbo) is get a compressor with 60 or super 60 trim, and even with the 45 trim i will go straight through the center 74% island and at 4500RPM i will just barely cross into the 70%(both at 7psi at 10psi it will go farther into 70%) and with the super 60 i will be just shy of the middle of the sweet spot.....so I will say it now. I will make this turbo work. It won't break any records, it won't be the most powerful, and you all might not agree with it..........BUT there is more than just a ct-26 -------------------- Coming in 2010 full paintjob - new wheels - modified body - new interior - engine build- marriage |
