all i wanted to add is that with any engine there can be hidden problems like example getting a 3sgte getting it just to find out that a 10 year old (depending on gen) engine is on its last leg
the 3sgte is a proven power plant but not many guys on here take it much further than just a swap 7age or 7age 16v or 20v is a fun motor if your staying n/a is not a huge power gain but you do gain ok we will break it down like this a st celica and a guy or girl with some automotive knowledge 3sgte motor 20v 4age gt tranny use the c52 no cost wiring harness wiring harness custom shafts use stock c52 shaft no cost but on the 7age you have to tear apart the 20v take the head pistons and a few other items. then put them in a 7afe block 7afe rods with 20v pistons new head gasket and adjustable gears to get your timing right all in all (of how hard it is to build) i think a 7age project on a scale of 1 -10 is an 8 where as the 3sgte is a 5 or 6 -------------------- yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte
