![]() I brought her in for new brakes all around, wheel balance, oil change and CV joint. He says to me, "So what's wrong with your brakes?" I said I dunno, they felt weird, 146k miles with no service records." Good to see he's honest, some mechanics aren't so reliable. When I used to take my car to a mechanic they were excellent, and would invite me right in the shop to watch them work on it to learn. Very cool people, and knowledgable at that. However theres plenty of people that'll take it somewhere and get scammed, I've seen it far too often, like $920 for a brake job.
