Currently, my car is in the shop for a check up. The '97 GT has about 96,000 miles on it and my mechanic has taken a look and suggested the following:

Replace Timing belt (And some other components in this area)
Replace Spark Plugs
Replace Fuel Filter
Replace Belts & Hoses (Look kinda worn)
Replace PCV Valve

Does this sound right? Is there anything he is missing or should not include? Just want to get some opinions before I lay out the cash.

LOL. See, I bought my car at 102k and now it's at about 113k. Well...I haven't replaced crap except oil change, tranny flush/tune-up, and spark plugs. But a full tune-up shpuld include...

Timing Belt
Fuel Filter
Oil Change
Air Filter (Unless you got intake in which case you know how often you shoudl clean it)
PCV Valve
Cap
Rotor
Plug Wires

That should do it. I guess I'm planning on getting some new wires soon. But I don't really care...as soon as I'd replace all that crap, it would need to be replaced again cuz I beat on my Celi and she likes it...so there!
