Over thirteen months ago my car was destroyed by vandals. Over $7,000 of damage was inflicted and my car was totalled.

After months of hard work, I'm proud to present my restored Celica, complete with a new paint job.

It's got quite the alarm system already. Six horns, five sirens, battery backup, dual sensors, all extremely well hidden.

Coomer, car looks outstanding!!! I'm curious, how much paint and bodywork experience have you had?? That really looks excellent!

Not much. I painted my old '88 Celica flat black with John Deere paint and a gun and shot my Nissan Sentra SE-R with rattle cans. This was the first time shooting a gloss color, and it's not perfect, but most of the flaws are very minimal and are hard to notice. I definitely learned a lot, and I don't think I'll ever paint a car again because it's so much work!

How much did it set you back in time and money?

As far as time goes, it took me a long time...I don't know a number for you, but I worked on it bit by bit over the course of a few months. As far as money goes, I think I spent around $300 total on the whole project, not including the sideskirts, extensions, or wing.
