I took pictures for those of you who want to install an injen intake or any other intake. I think installing an intake is basically the same for any intake on our Celica. The air filter box restricts valuable air from coming in and only has one source of air come in from one direction. An intake has air coming in from all direction. Take a look at the picture below.

I bought the greddy SP and injen intake from celica GT owner. Take a look at STEP 2 in this thread. Look at the red rubberery thing at the end of the intake attached to the manifold . Lets just say it's like a one-size fit all condom. The ring around it squeezes the "you know what" thing, which keeps the condom from falling off.
The only way your engine can be messed up your engine if you have a cheap air filter or one that hasn't been cleaned or changed . That's what the air filter is for: it keeps dirt from coming into your manifold. Just like sperm from cumming into the "you know what" thing when the condom is defective. Hope this helps |
