I've aquired a set of stock springs from the front of a 95 2.7 liter Tacoma. I want to find out what the spring rate is of our stock springs and compare it to the spring rates in these things. I wouldn't mind a little stiffer right, but these springs look 2-3 times the size of stocks. I'm just gong to cut them to the same hight or maybe a little lower than stock, and try to install them. Oh, I picked up some 4 piston calipers while I was at it. That is my next project. So, how bad is increasing the spring rate going to be?
After I get the info on the spring rate of the truck springs, and the rate of the stocks, I'll post to compare. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy

QUOTE(Rayme @ Aug 1, 2006 - 6:20 PM) I dont know why you care about spring rate, once the spring cut, the rate will just be way off it was before. actually its going to be stiffer, and your car will happily bounce around and blow shocks lol How much of an increase can i expect from the cut? -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
