We have a Toyota club running in Ireland/UK and one of our members is about to start producing a new style fibreglass hood skin for the 6gc.
(Its going to be very similar to the top-secret hood in style) The cost of which will be determined by the amount of interest raised by potential customers. Here is a cut of what he had to say: "I am in talks with a new design company, about making full fiberglass bonnet skins which will have a built in scoop for the 6th Generation Celica.(The scoop design has already been decided) " So just to gather the numbers of people who might be interested, can you post any comments or questions in the Celica forum on our site? The link is here... Toyota-irl.com Hood interest Thanks again This post has been edited by khye: Mar 10, 2004 - 10:28 AM |

QUOTE(playr158 @ Aug 4, 2006 - 1:54 PM) holy bump from 2 years ago! What are the chances the car will start after being in the shop for 2 years? hehe The bumper is made from scratch..the bonding is just for this 1st car...we are taking a kevlar mold of the finished kit so we can reproduce it. Adjusting the suspension and adding wider wheels was the bit that held the project back really. Plus other project cars, the Celica got pushed back a bit in the priority stakes! It's coming along now though! This post has been edited by khye: Aug 4, 2006 - 4:01 PM |
