 Light weight hood 4 cheap?, Could I just cut a giant hole? |

I was wondering since they don't make any fiberglass hoods for our cars and C/F costs an arm and a leg. Could it be possible to cut a giant hole in our current stock hoods and then slowly Bondo the giant hole?
What I mean is we cut a square hole inside the hood and then using overlays and other lightweight fabric slowly work our way to the middle to finish it off and then paint? Or is it just better to go C/F? |

More like 10kgs, even a bit more then that. (with insulation/vents/scoops) -------------------- JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!
