I 'd like some feedback regarding a few things with the coilovers and SS system. Things such as whats your ride height (how many threads are showing below the locking nut). How long/did your coilovers settle? What damping setting on the SS are u using?
Thanks guys I'd just like to compare. On a side note, wow this suspension is great. Its unrelenting, takes the turns like a champ. Bumpier ride though. -------------------- |

My height is at the "standard setting" that they specify in the manual, it could go a good deal lower but I wouldn't be able to drive anywhere. Raising it would probably allow for less bumpiness due to having a greater travel available, however I find the standard settings to be quite nice.
For daily driving I believe my dampening is around 4-5 clicks up from the softest because otherwise it gets a little rough on ill-maintained roads that are everywhere around here. The standard setting of 10 clicks back from the most firm setting is very sporty, but gets old because of the harsh ride. I feel one of the best ways to truly find a perfect feel is to set the dampening to another 1-2 clicks softer than standard settings, and then play with your tire pressure a little. It's amazing how communicative the tires become with these coilovers, but a little towards the soft side and a little firm on tire pressure and the feel is nearly perfect. EDIT- I've begun to realize that keeping the rear somewhat softer in the rear makes understeer much less pronounced when cornering hard....forgot to include that.
