Hi folks, I have one non-english-native member question biggrin.gif. What is "retainer" in the car? My dictionary sayed:
1. reserve
2. authorization form
3. box
4. snap ring
5. reservoir
6. gripper
7. contract
8. holder
9. menials
10. adherent

one better that other... need explanation, or better picture wink.gif. Thank you...

i believe it does the same as a grommet.
it's used to screw something through it and acts like a clamp or bolt to tighten the other side of whatever it is you're screwing through.
